Web Design

How much does a website cost?
It depends upon what type of site you require. They can start from £100, but that would be for a very basic advertising site. The only real way to get an estimation is to contact us.
What should I need before contacting you for a quote?
You should think about how many pages you require, general idea of the layout, colour scheme, and any other factors that you may think may be relevant.
How long will it take?
It takes 48 hours to activate during which time you should arrange content such as images, logos and text. We do try to have your site online withing five days.
How do I know how many people are going to my website/can I have a hitcounter?
We can provide you with statistics to show you page visits. We do not advise the use of a hitcounter.
Can I add extra pages?
Yes, although there may be a charge.
How do I change my settings to view the animation on the graphics page?
You need to have ActiveX scripts running on your browser. If you see a yellow bar pop up at the top of your screen, you can change your settings by clicking on it and clicking "Allowing Blocked Content...".

Other Design

Do you print flyers and posters?
Only for small quantities (maximum 100) and are subject to an extra cost if posted. We can however send any designs to your local printer should you wish.

The name Gwlad
An acronym of our services : Graphics, websites, leaflets, animations, designs; it is taken from the Welsh language, meaning 'country'. Most commonly heard in the Welsh national anthem, 'Gwlad, Gwlad, pleidiol wyf im Gwlad' (my country, my country, my heart is with my country), it is the phrase depicted on the Welsh one pound coin.

Glossary
Domain name

Your website name. Ours is gwladcreations.co.uk.
A co.uk domain is included in the price. Others are available, such as .com, but may cost extra.

Web space/web hosting

The storage area of your website. This is included included in the price.
